My mom and Megan came and stayed with us for five days. It was so nice to have them here. They were such a big help to me. I appreciate all the did and love them both so much. Now we get to have Ashley with us for the week. We are very excited.

She's Here!!!

Brianna Lynn


Brianna was born on May 27, 2009 at 11:46 a.m. after only 3 hours and 46 minutes of labor. She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long. She is such a cutie and we are so glad she is here and healthy.

Baby Bump!!

Since our baby is going to be born tomorrow I decided I better post a picture of my belly before I have her. That way I will know how big I was.


38 weeks pregnant.

How to...

...Get a swamp cooler on your roof.

First get a few guys together.
Have two of them be not so fond of being up high (Ty and Travis)
Then wrap tie downs around boxed swamp cooler.


Then have a discussion on what kind of knot to tie. Thinking real hard back to your boy scout days. Then try to remember how exactly to tie knot decided on.

After rope is tied to box. Have two guys climb on the roof. And one guy stays on the ground.

Get ready to pull and push the gigantic box up the ladder.

And pull.

And push. Hoping the knot in the rope holds and you don't get smashed.

And all together now.

Keep going. Its a tall house.

A little farther.

Almost.

One last little shove.

And its on the roof. With no one falling off or getting smashed. Pretty successful.

Drag box to correct spot.

Time to unwrap.

All ready to get it in place.

Tyler, Travis, and Blake. (our two neighbors) spent all day Saturday getting our new swamp cooler in place. After a few adjustments they got it to fit perfectly. Now all we have left is to run a new water line and get power to it. Good thing its a long weekend for Ty. The poor guy has so much to do before the baby comes. Thanks so much to Travis and Blake for spending their Saturday helping Tyler.

Graduation Time

Today Cohen graduated from pre-school. He was so excited and so cute. He is such a good boy and so smart. We love him very much and are so proud of him. Grandma and Ashley were able to make it down here to see his graduation program. He was so glad they could come.

Fun in the Sun!!!

Cohen has been asking to play in the water for a while now and yesterday was the perfect day. It was very hot and we don't have our new swamp cooler on the roof yet. So we improvised. They had a lot of fun playing in their sprinkler and cooling off.

Cohen had a blast.

Hunter wasn't quite sure what to think at first.

Then he started getting in to it.

Then Hunter figured out how to spray Cohen back.

They had a fun time and can't wait to play in the water again.

Happy Birthday Megan!!

Today is Megan's birthday. She is so much fun to be around. She is a good sister and aunt. She is so good with the boys and they adore her. I get asked all the time by Cohen and Hunter when we will be able to see her and Ashley. We hope you have a wonderful day Megan. We love you and can't wait to see you again. Hopefully soon.
