Brothers

I just had to put this picture on here. This is how I found them yesterday. When I asked them what they were doing Hunter answered "See". They were standing in the window looking out and having fun together. Their fun times together are becoming more frequent. They are still learning how to play with each other. But they do love each other very much.

Saturday clean up

Saturday was a beautiful day. So we decided to take advantage of that and get our yard ready for winter. We raked leaves, mowed the lawn, trimmed some trees, cleaned out the garden, and trimmed my rose bushes. We had a fun time together as a family and we were all pretty tired by the end of the day. But now our yard is winter ready.
Ty raking the leaves. We have TONS of leaves. We threw away probably 8 big garbage bags of leaves. The bad thing is, there are still more leaves on the trees that have not fallen yet.

The boys had fun jumping and running in the leaf piles. It made more work for Ty and I but it was worth it. They had lots of fun.

Cohen lying in the leaf pile.

Hunter had fun playing on the jeep and 4-wheeler.

I had to put this picture in for Tyler. He was also able to get his truck running. He loves that truck. And Cohen was so excited to ride in Dad's Chevy.

6th Anniversary and Park City

Saturday was our 6th anniversary and we celebrated by going to Park City on Friday and Saturday. We took the boys with us and had lots of fun. We stayed in a hotel that had an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Both were heated. The boys loved swimming. On Friday after we got checked in we got changed and went swimming for about an hour and a half. We then went back to our room and got ready to go eat. After we got back from eating Cohen begged to go swimming again. So we did. He had so much fun. We took his life jacket with us and he learned how to keep himself upright and he swam all over the pool. Hunter had a fun time splashing everyone. On Saturday we went shopping at the outlet mall and found some good deals and got a little Christmas shopping done. It was a very fun weekend and Tyler and I enjoyed celebrating with our boys.

Our Wedding day. November 8, 2002
It has been a wonderful 6 years together. And I'm looking forward to many, many more years together. I love Tyler so much. He is a wonderful husband and father.

The indoor pool at the hotel.

The outdoor pool. The two pools were connected. We went to the outdoor pool a couple of times but the boys didn't really enjoy it because the outside air was pretty cold. There was snow everywhere. The pool was very warm though, warmer then the indoor one.

My Boys having fun in the pool.

Cohen swimming with his life jacket on. He had so much fun. He kept calling the hotel room "Our other home" because he couldn't remember what it was called.

After swimming twice in one day the boys were exhausted. But the had to take a bath in the jacuzzi tub that was in our room.

New Do

Yesterday I got a new hair style and I love it. Thanks Ty for letting me get it done.

I think I look a lot like my mom from the back.

Duck Hunting

Yesterday Cohen got to go duck hunting with his dad. He was so excited. He had no problem getting up at 5:00 in the morning. We dressed him up in all his camo gear and off they went to shoot some ducks. Unfortunately they didn't get any but had a blast hanging out together. They went with our neighbor Travis and his dad Tony. And they went out on the water in Tony's boat.
Cohen hanging out on the boat watching for ducks. Doesn't he look like he's having a blast!

All their decoys. Cohen got to help pick them back up from the boat when they were all done.

Calling in some duck and ready to shoot them.

Taking a snooze in the bottom of the boat.

Heading back home. Cohen had so much fun and can't wait to go again.

Happy Halloween

The boys had a fun Halloween. They loved going trick or treating and got plenty of candy. Tyler and I had fun watching them.
Hunter the lion.

Isn't he such a cutie pie?

Cohen our Bumblebee Transformer.

Also a cutie.

This is Cohen's preschool class and the other class. They had a little Halloween party and he got even more candy.

Cohen's Rash

On Wednesday I took Hunter in for his 18 month check-up. (Which he absolutely hated.) And got both boys their flu shots. Poor Cohen ended up looking like this.

(These were taken after we got back from the Dr.)
I had to take him back to the doctor the next day to see what was going on. I don't think the doctor really knew what it was. But he told me it was a reaction to the flu shot. He is getting better and it is almost gone now and the rash never did bother him but it was sad to see. His arms stayed about the same as in the pictures but his face got redder. He looked like he got sunburned while wearing sunglasses. It was also on his legs from his ankles to his knees.
Cohen is always saying things that make me laugh. As we were driving to the doctors the sun was shining on my arm and he could see the hair on it.
He told me "Mom your arms are getting hairy you should shave them. You don't want to have boy arms with lots of hair."
Me (laughing): "Thanks Cohen"
He continues with lots of excitement: "When I get bigger I'm going to have hair on my legs just like daddy"
Me (laughing even harder): "Are you excited about that?"
Him: "Yes and I get to grow hair around my mouth like dad, too."
He is such a fun and smart little boy and we are so glad he is ours. He definitely keeps us on our toes.

Fun at Grandpa and Grandma's

This past weekend we went to my Mom and Dad's house for a visit and had a great time. The boys love going to Grandma and Grandpa's. The weather was beautiful and we spent a lot of time outside playing in their big yard. And enjoying each others company.
This is Tyler and Cohen getting ready to race down the hill.
On Your Mark...Get Set...
GO!!!

Hunter loves to pick grass and either throw it at you or just hand it to you. Here he is giving his dad a hand full of grass.

Hunter is my little cuddle bug. Here he is giving his daddy loves.

Cohen and Great Grandma Betty had to have a race also!

Cohen has quite the imagination. He found a stick and called it his rocket ship. And he had to teach Grandpa how to fly his rocket ship just right.

Cohen also loves to wrestle with Grandpa, Uncle Matt, and his Daddy. Once in awhile he will even tackle one of his Aunts or Grandma or his Mom and I have to remind him to be careful with us cause we are girls. And he will reply "Oh I forgot girls aren't tough like boys!"

Hunter is enjoying some playing time with Grandpa also.

Showing Grandpa how to pick the grass.

Even Maggie enjoyed the huge yard.

My Boys

I thought I would start my blog by posting some pictures of my cute boys.
I love my boys very much. They mean the world to me. They are good little boys. And I love being their mom. They always brighten my day.

Hunter loves to wear his dads hats.

I love this picture. This is Hunters funny face.
It has taken me a long time to get a picture of him doing this.
He doesn't do it very often. But it makes me laugh every time he does.

Cohen decided that he needed to do a funny face too.

And this is Hunter when he is not so happy. He is pretty good at this one. Especially if his big brother is giving him a hard time.

The boys playing in the sawdust in Grandpas shop.

Hunter found something greasy to play with/suck on in Grandpas shop.

Cohen loves to help Grandpa and Matt work on their tucks.
This is the end result.

Hunter listening to music with his two aunts. He loves to play with them and be around them.
