New Big Boy Beds

On Saturday I had quite the project for Tyler. Put together the boys new bunk beds. It was pretty fun and took a lot of time. But Ty did a good job and the boys love their new big boy beds.

Trying to figure out where to start.

I think he's wondering what I've gotten him into.
After he was done he said it was pretty fun.

Hunter taking all the pieces out. Cohen and Hunter were a big help and we only had to search for missing parts a few times.

Cohen thought these boards would make great skis.

Ty trying to find the letters on the boards to know what piece goes where. Cohen was very helpful at this part. He knows his letter really well.

Here is the almost finished product. I didn't get any pictures of the actual building of the beds because I was busy holding boards so Tyler could put them together.

Here's their new bed. We had to buy a mattress for Hunters bed. We were going to try using air mattresses for now but they were way to small. So we took all that stuff back and went in search of a cheaper twin mattress. Which was not easy. But we finally found one and everyone is happy.

Cohen is very excited to be the one to sleep on the top. And he is very proud of himself that he can climb up and down the latter all by himself.

Now the finished beds. Hunters bed did not come with the guard rail and the one at the store would not work. So Tyler being the handyman he is built the guard on Hunters bed. He did a really good job. The boys love their new beds.
